Just a Husker girl living in the Lone Star world since 2010. Speech language pathologist by trade, but discipleship is what drives me - seeing someone discover, fall head-over-heels in love with, and become more like Jesus. I'm an old soul who never says no to a cup of tea or coffee, a themed-party, game night, or a concert.
Why “The lady abides”?
I like to address people with a title, like M'Lady or Her Ladyship, or M'Lord or His Lordship. Let's bring back a little civility, propriety, and decorum in life, shall we? And the word "abide" Jesus uses in John 15:5 (ESV) paints the perfect picture of how we are called to connect with Christ. The Lady Abides - a motto, a banner, a call to action... may it be true of me.
